M-Chat was the original chat platform, and was created to be a distributable service to participating merchant websites (hence the name M-Chat).  M-Chat was renamed to Chatz.us in Oct 2024 for a stationary presence on one domain, and to better suite the chat and online matchmaking communities.  Chatz.us is a place to chat, mingle, find friends & find love and marriage.  The chat platform was first thought of when John the owner found a need for a service of chat & singles when discovering there was a lack of chat enabled singles services, (or were difficult to use, or too expensive) while searching for a date himself.

The first concept of Chatz.us was to be a free service to get our image tag out, and for the world to chat, better communications and find marriage, and was then later converted into a for sale product.  Growing by leaps & bounds each day, Chatz.us now has regional chat rooms, free blogs, free social media and e-mail.  Tips and resources for finding marriage and earning money were recently added.

9/20/2025 - Chatz.us is now free, with chat, social media & blogs completely free.  If the user wants to instant message or e-mail another user, and it has been more than 30 days since sign up, they must pay the fee of $5.99 per month.  The owner was thinking "if you can't find a date within 30 days, you'll need to pay a fee!".  Good luck in your date searching!

I went to college at The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Management Information Systems.  For my Senior Management 471W class, I was the Chief Information Officer for a simulated corporation, and built a computer data center with two large diesel engine powered generators, while presenting reports with the board of directors.  I received a grade of A-.

I joined the U.S. Navy when I was eighteen to obtain more discipline for college.  I served aboad the USS Patriot MCM-7, part of Rotational Crew Hotel.  We completed a GOMEX 93, WESTPAC and RIMPAC tour of the pacific on an avenger class minesweeper.  I then boarded the USS Scout MCM-8 to complete my duties.  I was Honorably Discharged in 1995.  While attending college, I used my GI Bill to pay for rent in the city.

I was raised in a catholic family.  I went to church every sunday since I was small.   I study the catholic religion much more appropriatley now, with real doctors on catholic radio, and find it to be very rewarding.

I'm going around the moon on the Orion Spacecraft for the Artemis II mission!  Set to launch 2026 and travel 230,000 miles around the moon to test spacecraft operating systems.  My name will be on a SD Card onboard the spacecraft with the astronauts.

My surname is Hoover.  The surname Hoover is the Anglicized (to make or become English in sound, appearance, or character) version of the German and Dutch name Huber.

The name is derived from the Middle High German word "huober," meaning "owner of a patch of farmland" or "owner of a large measure of land".  The term "Hube" was used to denote a 40-acre hide of farmland.  It is likely that the original bearer of this name was someone who owned such a farm.

I go to German Night at the german church in the city every year to celebrate my heritage.
